Abstract

Tablets and mobile phones are powerful multimedia tools that when employed purposefully in (and out of) the classroom can lead to some wonderful student created projects. Mobile devices can capture sound and video as well as utilising a camera to take photos. When you put them all together, many an EFL task can be created. In this very hands-on workshop you'll be provided with the basic steps to get started with one such project, making a use of the iMovie trailer on apple devices. Don’t be put off if you don’t use apple, we’re going to look at the steps needed for project learning in digital story telling and suggest other ways this can be done – with or without a tablet.
