Abstract

In der vorliegenden Studie werden einige tschechische Literaturfiguren sowie Figuren der deutschsprachigen Literatur des 20. Jahrhunderts aus den böhmischen Ländern mit ihrem kultur- und mythenbildenden Potential für das kollektive Gedächtnis des Landes in Bezug auf den Ersten Weltkrieg (1914) und die Figur des Thronfolgers Franz Ferdinand (vor allem bei L. Winder) analysiert. Es wird aufgezeigt, dass eine breitere Resonanz außerhalb der literarischen Narrativik für die 1. Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts der bereits auch weithin international bekannten Švejk-Figur vorbehalten bleibt. Für die 2. Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts scheint der mittlerweile installierte poetoludistisch-ikonoklastische Cimrman-Mythos mit wesentlich geringerem Bekanntheitsgrad im Ausland den national-lokalen Kulturraum zu dominieren. Dieser Mythos überdauerte die sog. Normalisierungszeit nach 1968, die Wende von 1989 und die Teilung der Tschechoslowakei (1993) und prägt in nicht unbeträchtlichem Maß das tschechische Selbstverständnis auch weiterhin in der Ära Tschechiens als Nationalstaat und EU-Mitglied (seit 2004). Er sucht dieses Verständnis als dialektische Vereinigung der „Austria-Nostralgie“ mit der emanzipatorischen nationalen Idee und die dialektische Aufhebung derselben zu hinterfragen und zu behaupten.

Ve studii se srovnávají několik postav české literatury jakož i německy psané literatury z českých zemí 20. stol. s jejich kulturo- a mýtotvorným potenciál pro kolektivní paměť těchto zemí in puncto 1. sv. válka a figura následníka trůnu Františka Ferdinanda (především u Ludwiga Windera). Demonstruje se, že širší resonance mimo literární narace 1. pol. 20. stol. zůstává vyhrazena Haškově figuře Švejka, která pronikla i na mezinárodní scénu. V 2. pol. 20. stol. v prostředí národní kultury nejspíš dominuje mezitím instalovaný poetoludisticky-ikonoklastický autistický cimrmanovský mýtus výrazně méně známější v zahraničí. Tento mýtus přetrval tzv. normalizaci po roce 1968, Sametovou revoluci (1989) a rozdělení Československa (1993) a formuje i nadále ne nepodstatnou měrou české sebeporozumění i v éře národního státu a členství v EU (od r. 2004). Tento mýtus se pokouší reflektovat a potvrdit jako dialektickou negaci negace spojení prorakouské nostalgie (Austria nostralgia) s emancipačně národní ideou.

Abstract (in English)

The study offers an analysis of several Czech literary figures as well as figures from German-language twentieth century literature from the Bohemian lands, considering their potential for fostering culture and myths in the country's collective memory with regard to the First World War and the person of crown prince Franz Ferdinand. It is noted that the only figure in the works of the first half of the twentieth century to be given a wider reception outside of literary narrative studies ist that of Švejk, which enjoys international renown. For the second half of twentieth century, the national-local cultural space appears to be dominated by the Cimrman myth, which is far less well known abroad. This myth survived the era known as the Normalization after 1968, the Fall of Communism in 1989 and the partition of Czechoslovakia in 1993. It still plays an imortant formative role for Czech self-perception by way of dialectically combining "Austria nostralgia" with the emancipatory national idea
