V originále

Anatomii dětského věku byla v české i zahraniční odborné literatuře dosud věnována poměrně malá pozornost. Detailně jsou zachyceny morfologické změny lidského organismu v průběhu nitroděložního vývoje a dobře je zdokumentována i anatomie novorozenců, avšak údaje o morfometrických znacích v jednotlivých dětských věkových kategoriích v postnatálním období jsou prozatím kusé. V předkládané publikaci bylo naší snahou zachytit veškeré změny jednotlivých orgánových soustav a topografických poměrů v průběhu růstu a vytvořit ucelený souhrn dosavadních poznatků z tohoto oboru. Skripta jsou určena studentům lékařské fakulty pregraduálního i postgraduálního studia se zaměřením na pediatrické obory. Pro úplné pochopení textu jsou předpokladem anatomické znalosti ze základního kurzu anatomie.

A little attention was paid to Anatomy of childhood in a literature. The morphological changes of the human body during intrauterine development as well as the anatomy of the newborn is well documented, but data of morphological changes in different age groups of children in the postnatal period are sketchy so far. In the present publication, we tried to capture the changes of individual organ systems and topographic conditions during growth and create a comprehensive summary of current knowledge in this field. The textbook is intended for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students who are focused on pediatrics. For a complete understanding of the text an essential anatomical knowledge of the human anatomy is needed.
