Abstract
Distální humerus, resp. loketní kloub patří k nejsložitějším strukturám skeletu. Při operačním ošetřování jeho poranění je třeba striktně respektovat anatomii a biomechaniku této oblasti. Je nutno dodržovat i další zásady AO, tj. provádět stabilní osteosyntézu a nejpozději do týdne začít s pooperační rehabilitací. Jen takto lze dosáhnout uspokojivých výsledků, které umožní pacientům další život bez bolesti a významnějších omezení.

Abstract

Distal humerus or elbow joint is one of the most complex skeletal structure. It is necessary to follow strictly anatomy and biomechanics of the region during the surgery. It is also imperative to follow AO principles. It means to make stable osteosynthesis and to start the post-operative rehabilitation at the latest one week after the surgery. Only such a protocol provides good results, which permit patients further life without pain and significant limitations.
