Abstract

S potřebou číst se dnes v běžném životě setkáváme velmi často, avšak někteří lidé mohou mít se čtením značné problémy, protože trpí specifickou poruchou učení, dyslexií. Dyslexie je komplexní porucha čtení, která se u jedinců může projevovat různými způsoby, převážně skoky písmen a celých slov na řádcích, různými odlesky, problémy s navázáním slov do vět a s přechodem na další řádek apod. Mezi možnosti optické korekce dyslexie se řadí barevné folie, které jsou předkládány před čtený text, barevné filtry v brýlových obroučkách nebo také barevné kontaktní čočky. Předložením některé uvedené barevné pomůcky před oko se upraví kontrast pozadí a chod paprsku přicházejícího do oka. Tématem aplikace a používání barevných folií jako korekčních pomůcek se zabývám ve své diplomové práci s názvem Využití barevných folií pro kompenzaci specifických poruch učení (Lékařská fakulta Masarykovy univerzity, Katedra optometrie a ortoptiky, vedoucí práce: Mgr. DiS. Petr Veselý, PhD.). Barevné folie využívám při práci s dětmi, které trpí dyslexií, přičemž do výzkumu také zahrnuji jedince bez dyslektické vady, abych mohla obě skupiny mezi sebou vzájemně porovnat. Prezentace zahrnuje podrobný popis postupu měření a popisuje průběžné výsledky.

Abstract (in English)

In this time people very often need to read in ordinary life. However, some people can have a huge problem with reading, because they suffer from specific learning disorder - dyslexia. Dyslexia is a complex disorder of reading. It can be manifested by amount of symptoms, mainly by jumping of letters and whole words in the line or various reflections. Among the possibilities of optical correction of dyslexia we can rank the colour overlays which are put in front of reading text. Other possibilities are the colour filter in the frames or the colour contact lenses. When we put one of this type of filter in front of the eye we change a contrast of the background and a beam path coming into the eye. I would like to deal with the topic of application and using colour overlays in my thesis called The use of colour overlays to compensate of specific learning disorders (Faculty of Medicine of the Masaryk University Brno, department of Optometry and Orthoptics, supervisor: Mgr. Petr Veselý, DiS. PhD.) I use colour overlays to work with children who suffer from dyslexia. However, I am working also with children without dyslexia for comparison both groups. Presentation includes the description of measurement and actual results.
