Abstract
Letos je to 150 let, co byla na zasedání Přírodovědné společnosti v Brně prezentována teorie dědičných jednotek J.G. Mendela, která byla pak zveřejněna v následujícím roce. Trvalo však více než 30 let, než byla pochopena a oceněna jako mistrovské dílo genetiky. Řešení problémů v základním modelu může být motivací v matematice stejně jako získání znalostí o genetice.
Abstract (in English)
This year it's 150 years since JG Mendel presented at a meeting of the Natural Science Society in Brno his theory of hereditary transmission units, which was published the following year. But then it took more than 30 years before it was understood and appreciated as a masterpiece of genetics. Solving problems in a elementary model can become motivation in mathematics as well as gain knowledge about genetics.
