Abstract

V úvodu pojednáno o míře svobody barbarů a Římanů v době velkého stěhování národů, dále o fenoménu migrací v dějinách obecně. Zvláště pak o pohledu antických Římanů na migrující etnika, o způsobech jejich integrace do říše. Odmítnuta teze o střetu civilizací.

Abstract (in English)

The liberty of the Romans and Barbarians in the so called great migration of peoples was tracted, the image of moving people in the ancient sources, their integration within the Romane Empire. The view about the conflict of civilizations is denied.
