Abstract

The paper introduces the use of ICT in the classes of English as a foreign language at the Centre for students with specific needs at Masaryk university in Brno. First, the organization of and approaches to language teaching are introduced. Then the use of ICT is specified, which includes online accesibility of all teaching materials and Moodle-based courses. The use of online chat as a tool for substituting speaking practice is described in detail.

Příspěvek představuje využití ICT v hodinách angličtiny jako cizího jazyka ve Středisku pro studenty se specifickými nároky na Masarykově univerzitě v Brně. Nejprve je představena organizace a přístup k výuce jazyků. Dále je specifikováno využití ICT, které zahrnuje online přístupnost všech výukových materiálů a kurzy v prostředí Moodle. Využití online chatu jako nástroje nahrazujícího mluvenou řeč je detailně popsáno.
