Abstract

Jednou z často používaných definicí empirických věd je, že jsou založeny na opakovatelném a ověřitelném výzkumu. Právě replikovatelnost, základní předpoklad psychologie ustanovovaný koncem 19. století ve Wundtových laboratořích, však byla v posledních měsících vystavena značné kritice. Není to přitom poprvé v historii, například už v šedesátých letech bil na poplach psycholog a statistik Jacob Cohen. Stávající celosvětové kritické hnutí nicméně na špatné poměry psychologického výzkumu upozorňuje v nebývalém rozsahu. Situace došla až tak daleko, že se začíná vžívat termín „replikační krize“.

Abstract (in English)

Most of definitions of science are based on reproducibility and verifiability of the research. Replicability, the basic premise of psychology as it was introduced since the late 19th century in Wundt’s laboratories, is under serious critics during the last months. Moreover, it is not the first time in history, statistician and psychologist Jacob Cohen warned researchers already in sixties. However, the current global critical movement raised the critics more than the former attempt. This situation reached so far that the term “replication crisis” is in the common usage.
