Abstract
The aim of this presenation is to provide an overview of legal sources for private international law and intellectual property rights. The governing rule in this area is the principle of territoriality and connecting factor lex loci protectionis. In this short paper, I would like to present arguments on the current legal norms from the perspective of the EU law and Czech Private International Law Act.
