Abstract
Biografia de Francesc Cortiella i Odena (Vilaverd 1933-Tarragona 1987), professor i historiador. Exercí de mestre a Rojals (1951), Balaguer (1953), Alforja (1954-1955), la Selva del Camp (1955), Vila-rodona (1960-1967), Tarragona (Sant Pau 1967-1973; Sant Pere i Sant Pau 1973-74 i Bonavista (1974)). Posteriorment fou professor de secundaria a la Universitat Laboral de Tarragona (1974-1981) i de l'Escola Universitaria de Formacio del Professorat d’EGB de Tarragona (1981), la Universitat de Barcelona (Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres de la delegació universitaria de Tarragona, 1981-1987). El seu ambit d’estudi se centra en la historia medieval del Camp de Tarragona i la Conca de Barbera.
Abstract (in English)
Biography of Francesc Cortiella Odena (Vilaverd 1933-Tarragona 1987), professor and historian. He worked as a school teacher in Rojals (1951), Balaguer (1953), Alforja (1954-1955), la Selva del Camp (1955), Vila-rodona (1960-1967), Tarragona (Sant Pau 1967-1973; Sant Pere i Sant Pau 1973-74, and Bonavista (1974)). Later on, he worked as a lecturer at Universitat Laboral in Tarragona and at the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts of University of Barcelona (at its delegation in Tarragona). His study field focused on medieval history in the zone known as Camp de Tarragona.
