Abstract

Text se zabývá aplikací archetypu cizince na soubor revolučních črt a profilů Sergeje Stěpňaka-Kravčinského Podpolnaja Rossija. Pro teroristy revolucionáře, které autor popsal, hrálo pojetí náležení ke skupině závažnou roli, protože se na základě svých politických názorů cítili z většinové společnosti vyloučeni. Všechno bylo ale mnohem komplikovanější, když do exkluze vstoupily vnitřní a vnější faktory jako sociální původ, emigrace, rodinné prostředí, gender nebo složitost povahy, které teroristům bránily v úplné integraci i v rámci teroristické organizace. Případ Petra Kropotkina, Dmitrije Klemenceva, Gesji Gelfman, Dmitrije Lizoguba a dalších ukazují, že ideál možnosti náležení k revoluční skupině nebyl v realitě vždy naplněn. Teroristé nebyli zcela přijati ani do organizace, kde si měli být všichni rovni. Stali se cizinci. Navzdory faktu, že toužili někam patřit a zařadit se, byli vyloučeni na základě výše zmíněných odlišností.

Abstract (in English)

The paper deals with the archetype of a stranger and its application to Stepnyak-Kravchinsky’s collection of Russian revolutionaries’ sketches and profiles Underground Russia. For Stepnyak-Kravchinsky’s terrorists revolutionaries the notion of belonging was of crucial importance as they considered themselves excluded from the society because of their political opinions. But situation was more complicated for them because external and internal factors such as social origin, emigration, family background, gender or one’s complicated personality sometimes prevented them from complete integration into the organization. The cases of Petr Kropotkin, Dmitrij Klemenc, Gesya Gelfman, Dmitrij Lizogub etc. show how ideal of belonging to the revolutionary organization does not always correspond with reality. From the point of view of their personal lives, these people were excluded even from the organization where everybody was supposed to be equal to each other. They became strangers. Despite the fact they longed to be part of the community, they were excluded once again because of the above-mentioned differences.
