Abstract

In the lecture I assess the charge that animalism leads to implausible consequences in analysing conjoined twinning cases. I evaluate a response by some proponents of animalism and show that the response fails.

V přednášce hodnotím tvrzení, že animalismus vede k nepřijatelným důsledkům při analýze identity siamských dvojčat. Hodnotím odpověď, kterou předkládají někteří proponenti animalismu vůči této námitce, a docházím k závěru, že tato odpověď není přijatelná.
