Abstract

Publikace se zabývá historickým vývojem a teoretickými východisky psychodiagnostiky. Přináší v našem kontextu neobvyklou systematickou definici diagnostiky jako procesu, jehož prvky jsou teorie, měřicí postupy a nástroje a administrace metod. Zahrnuje i přehled přístupů k teorii testů a komplexní pohled na tradiční otázky reliabilita a validity. Seznamuje s modely pro monitorování diagnostického procesu i kvality jeho výsledků i s otázkami uplatnění psychodiagnostiky v různých oblastech praxe. Představuje první část komplexnějšího díla, jehož pokračování se zaměřuje na aplikaci prezentovaných modelů v diagnostice osobnosti, kognice a inteligence s ohledem na životní kontext klienta.

Abstract (in English)

The publication deals with the historical development and theoretical background of the psychological assessment. It brings systemic definition of assessment as a process whose elements are the theories, measurment and intstrumentation, which is not usual in our centext. It also includes an overview of approaches to the test theory and a comprehensive view of the issues of reliability and validity. It introduces models for monitoring the diagnostic process and the quality of its results and deals with the issues of the application of psychological assessment in various fields. It is the first part of a more complex work, the sequel focuses on the application of the models presented in the assessment of personality, cognition, and intelligence with regard to the life context of the client.
