Abstract

A segunda cidade de Cabo Verde ocupa um lugar importante na literatura cabo-verdiana. A partir do momento quando surgiu a revista Claridade nos anos 30 do século passado, Mindelo pode ser considerado centro da vida cultural e literária. Nesta cidade desenrolam-se muitas obras importantes de Cabo Verde e nosso objetivo é observar a evoluçao da imagem da cidade e a sua funçao como um espaço literário, a partir do início da literatura cabo-verdiana até o presente.

Abstract (in Czech)

Druhé největší kapverdské město zaujímá důležité místo v kapverdské literatuře. Od vydání časopisu Claridade ve 30. letech minulého století můžeme Mindelo považovat za centrum kulturního a literárního života. Město je hlavním dějištěm mnoha významných kapverdských děl a naším cílem je sledovat proměny zobrazení města a jeho funkce jako prostoru od počátku kapverdské literatury do současnosti.

Abstract (in English)

The second city of Cape Verde occupies an important place in Cape Verdean literature. From the moment when the magazine Claridade appeared in the 30's of last century, Mindelo can be considered the center of cultural and literary life. In this city many important works of Cape Verde are unrolled and our objective is to observe the evolution of the image of the city and its function as a literary space, from the beginning of the Cape Verdean literature to the present days.
