Abstract

Studie se zabývá změnou postoje českého publika k distribuční nabídce a důvody, které vedly k postupnému nárůstu návštěvnosti německé žánrové produkce. Případová studie o brněnském publiku ukazuje, že návštěva kina, které promítalo německý film, nebyla chápána jako akt kolaborace nebo rezignace, ale jako chování, které pomáhalo definovat národní jednotu. Zatímco v první fázi protektorátu do roku 1941 zahrnoval rejstřík "českého chování" také návštěvu českých filmů a vyhýbání se produkci německé, tento model se změnil v následujících letech a některé z říšských snímků byly adoptovány do českého chování prostřednictvím neněmeckých hvězd těchto filmů.

Abstract (in English)

The essay researched on a changing attitude of the Czech audience to film distribution and asked the question on reasons and conditions of rising attendance on the German popular genre production. The case study on the Brno audiences reveals that visiting theatres which were screening German movies was perceived not as an act of collaboration or resignation, but as one of types of behaviour which helped to define national identity. While during the first period of the Protectorate till 1941, the register of “Czech behaviour” included visiting Czech movies and avoiding German production, this model was changing during the following years and some of the Reich´s movies were “adopted” into the “Czech behaviour” through their non-German stars.
