Abstract

Submitted topic is the contribution to the revision of the understanding of new media art and advanced communication technologies that surround us in the context of interconnection with natural phenomena and so called live media. Reviewing previous thinking on human-machine connections and generally the relationships of the living and non-living in the cybernetic context. We emphasize the particular way of expansion of digital media art and its reflection in the traditions of postmedia and postdigital period, when there is a link of ICT with the concept of biology and the number of sub-disciplines in two levels.

Abstract (in Czech)

Príspevok prináša nový pohľad na umenie nových médií a moderných komunikačných technológií, ktoré nás obklopujú v prepojení s prírodnými vedami a z nich vzniknutého biologického a biotechnologického umenia. Skúmame predchádzajúce úvahy o vzťahu človek-stroj a všeobecne vzťahy živých aj neživých v kybernetickom kontexte. Kladieme dôraz na konkrétny spôsob rozširovania digitálneho umenia a jeho odraz v tradíciách postmédií a postdigitalnej éry.
