Abstract

Pilotní studie ukazují, že miRNA představují potencionální skupinu biomarkerů v budoucnosti použitelných v klinické praxi v rámci diagnostiky, zejména diferenciální diagnostiky, či odhadu prognózy vnitřních nemocí. Další komplexnější studie, zahrnující větší kohorty pacientů spojené podobnými příznaky a využívající standardizované postupy, jsou nezbytné k odhalení jejich pravého klinického potenciálu.

Abstract (in English)

There are pilot studies indicating that microRNAs hold promising potential in the diagnostics, especially differential diagnostics, and prognostics stratitifaction of patients with internal diseases. Even though more complex studies involing larger cohorts of patients are needed, this review summarizes the current knowledge about the topic.
