Abstract

Záměrem této studie je předložit výklad jak textů, které se výslovně vztahují k „učedníkovi, kterého Ježíš miloval“ (Jan 13,21–30; 19,25–37; 20,1–10; 21,1–14; 21,20–25), tak textů, které se rovněž smí k němu vztahovat (Jan 18,15–16; 1,35–40). Detailní exegeze nám pomáhá přestavit hlavní charakteristiky „učedníka, kterého Ježíš miloval“ a upozornit na jeho roli a význam v Janově evangeliu. Tento milovaný učedník je příkladným učedníkem. On zůstává Ježíšovi věrný až do jeho smrti na kříži (Jan 19,25–37), on je prvním, kdo věří v Ježíšovo vzkříšení (Jan 20,8). V Jan 21,7 je prvním, kdo poznává vzkříšeného Pána. Nakonec tento milovaný učedník ztělesňuje všechny, který jsou Ježíšem milováni, protože ho milují a zachovávají jeho přikázání.

Abstract (in English)

The purpose of the paper is to present an interpretation both of the texts which are indisputably about “the disciple whom Jesus loved” (John 13:21-30; 19:25-37; 20:1-10; 21:1-14, 20-25) and also of the disputed text, in which he may appear (John 18:15-16; 1,35-40). The detailed exegesis helps us to present the main characteristics of the portrait of “the disciple whom Jesus loved” and to point out his role and importance in the Gospel of John. The Beloved Disciple is the exemplary disciple. He remains faithful to Jesus until the Crucifixion (John 19:25-37), he is the first to believe in the resurrection of Jesus (John 20:8). In John 21:7 he is the first to recognize the risen Lord. Finally the Beloved Disciple embodies all those who are deeply loved by Jesus because they love him and keep his commandments.
