Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyze the arbitrability of intellectual property (IP) rights disputes. Arbitration in this area is gaining more interest, as the importance of intangible property in the national and world economies raises. However, significant differences among the states concerning arbitrability still prevail. This article presents the basic notions of arbitrability of IP disputes, the main arguments for the limitations of arbitrability and discusses the legal provisions on arbitrability in selected jurisdictions.
