Abstract

Kolektivní odborná monografie obsahuje příspěvky jednadvaceti autorů k reflexi fantastického vyjádření v literární a divadelní tvorbě. Pět tematických oddílů (O utopičnosti v literatuře, Sdílení příběhu, světa a jazyka, Ke kořenům nejen české fantastiky, Kreativita a fantastičnost – příběhy nejen pro děti, Středoevropská postmoderna) představuje možnosti zkoumání fenoménu fantastična z hlediska literární teorie a historie, divadelní a kognitivní vědy, filozofie a komparatistiky. Široké pojetí fantastična uplatněné v knize umožnilo zaměřit se na žánrové i nežánrové podoby fantastiky, a přispět tak k překlenutí do značné míry umělé hranice mezi nimi.

Abstract (in English)

Collective monograph includes contributions by twenty authors reflecting on an expression of fantastic in literature and drama. Five thematic sections (On the Utopian Quality in Literature, Sharing the Story, World and Language, To the Roots of Not Only the Czech Fantastic, Creativity and Fantastic Quality – Stories Not Only for Children, Central-European Postmodernism) introduces the possibility of exploring the phenomenon of fantastic in terms of literary theory and history, theatre studies and cognitive science, philosophy and comparative literature. An inclusive definition of fantastic literature applied in the book allows focusing on both genre and non-genre forms of fantastic literature, and thus contributes to bridging the largely artificial boundaries between them.
