Abstract
We read with great interest the letter by Alfonso et al with comments to our study.1 We know the interesting results of the RIBS V study (Restenosis Intra-Stent of Bare-Metal Stents: Paclitaxel-Eluting Balloon vs. Everolimus-Eluting Stent). Contrary to RIBS V, we used everolimus-eluting stents (EES) with platinum-chromium metallic platform and a different primary end point, 12-month late lumen loss (LLL) in our study.
