Abstract
V originále
Oxytocin is a neuropeptide that acts as a neurotransmitter and neuromodulator in the brain. It is considered to enhance prosocial behavior, by increasing social salience, social motivation and social awareness. There is evidence for better emotion recognition, increased fixation on the eyes-region of face, enhanced trust after oxytocin intake in typically developing individuals.Performance on explicit behavioural tasks can be influenced by several confounding factors, while the implicit measures are usually very complex, time-consuming and inconclusive. This study focuses on monitoring effect of oxytocine on different aspects of face processing using very sensitive method of fast periodic visual stimulation EEG.
