The article deals with the current condition of voice education in the Czech Republic with focus on conservatories and academies of art. It compares the requirements for admission to study, curricula and study plans and the number of lessons. The article is the preparation for research which will value the attitudes of students, graduates and former and present teachers to the condition of voice education in the Czech Republic.
