Abstract

Příspěvek byl zaměřen na specifickou oblast tvorby významného českého režiséra Vladimíra Síse, kterou představují hudební vizualizace. Jedná se zpravidla o filmové dokumenty vytvořené na základě skladeb významných českých i zahraničních skladatelů. V úvodu referátu byl stručně nastíněn život režiséra Vladimíra Síse. Poté následoval informativní přehled hudebních filmů s přihlédnutím k žánrovému zaměření směřujícímu právě k hudebním vizualizacím a dokumentům. Následně byl prezentován Sísův snímek Antonín Dvořák: Symfonie č. 9 e moll. op. 95 „Z Nového světa“, kterému předcházel krátký popis původního záměru režiséra, a sice popularizace klasické hudby. Cílem příspěvku bylo především poskytnutí prostoru k diskuzi nad dílem tohoto autora a nad didaktickými aspekty hudebních vizualizací a filmu obecně.

Abstract (in English)

The contribution was focused on a specific area of artistic work of a noted Czech film director Vladimír Sís, which is represented by music visualisations. Generally, these are documentary films made on basis of compositions by famous Czech and foreign composers. In the introduction, a short Sís’s biography was outlined. It was followed by an informative overview of various kinds of music film in consideration of certain genres such as music visualisations and documentaries. Afterwards, there was a presentation of Sís’s film Antonín Dvořák: Symfonie č. 9 e-moll. op. 95 „Z Nového světa“ (Symphony No. 9 „From the New World“), that was preceded by a brief description of the original intention of the director, the popularisation of classical music. The aim of the contribution was to open up the possibility of discussing on Vladimír Sís’s work and the educational aspects of music visualisations and film in general.
