Abstract
Public lecture for Juniata College, Feb 9th, 2017, focused on critique of the current research in trust in media, mapping difficulties the research faces in the situation of increasing polarization of the public opinion and of the politics. On that basis, the lecture proposed possible research alternatives both in terms of conception of research and particular measures.
