The contribution dealt with the specific problems and challenges related to data collecting for Computerized Historical Linguistic Database of the Latin Inscriptions of the Imperial Age, the project of the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Latin Department of the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Tha database documents the "mistakes" and deviations from Classical Latin norm, which illustrate the Vulgar Latin development. It presented selected case studies resulting from the linguistic data collected from the 2nd volume of the corpus of Inscriptions Latines de l'Algérie. It analyzed and discussed the Vulgar Latin phenomena occurring in the Latin inscriptions IlAlg 2, 1937, 1340, 1365, and 1079 and the options of their correct codng in the database. The phenomena discussed were as follows: phonetic changes typical fo Vulgar Latin development (vocalismus: y > V; voc.-v-voc.> B; y > I; lv > LB; ae > E; consonantismus: qu > CV; aspiratio vitiosa); changes and confusions in declension systems (dat./abl. pl. -(I)BVS pro –is / decl. III. pro II; decl. IV pro II; fem. pro masc.), as well as syntactic and spelling deviations (permixtio syntagmatum; litterae perperam incisae; litterae superfluae; archaismus).

Příspěvek se zabýval specifickými problémy a výzvami spojenými se sbíráním dat pro digitální Historicko-lingvistickou databázi latinských nápisů císařské doby, která je společným projektem Ústavu lingvistiky u Maďarské akademie věd a latinské sekce Eötvös Loránd University v Budapešti. Databáze dokumentuje "chyby" a odchylky od klasického úzu latiny, které ilustrují vývoj tzv. lidové latiny. Byly prezentovány vybrané případové studie vycházející ze sbírání dat z 2. vydání korpusu Inscriptions Latines de l'Algérie, konkrétně z nápisů IlAlg 2, 1937, 1340, 1365, a 1079. Příspěvek analyzoval prvky typické pro lidovou latinu a možnosti jejich kódování ve zmíněné databázi. Diskutované problémy byly konkrétně : fonetické změny typické pro vývoj lidové latiny (vocalismus: y > V; voc.-v-voc.> B; y > I; lv > LB; ae > E; consonantismus: qu > CV; aspiratio vitiosa); změny v deklinačním systému (dat./abl. pl. -(I)BVS pro –is / decl. III. pro II; decl. IV pro II; fem. pro masc.), a syntaktické a grafické odchylky (permixtio syntagmatum; litterae perperam incisae; litterae superfluae; archaismus).
