Abstract

Der Vortrag (in Form von kurzer laudatio)setzt sich zum Ziel, aufgrund einer essayistischen Spekulation zu zeigen, wie effizient könnte Sloterdijk die literarische Anregungen zum Themen transformieren, die folgenderweise in ihren Texten philosophisch entwickelt und ausarbeitet. Ich versuche diese mögliche Transformationen mit hilfe von Nachtwachen von Bonaventura (1804, die 9 und 14 Nachtwache) demonstrieren und anzudeuten, die Sloterdijk in Viener-Vorlesungen in 1998 persönlich komentiert. Wie mag sich, so meine Fragestellung, diese Inspiration in die Gestalt der partiellen philosophischen Themen eingeschrieben haben, so wie sie etwa in Sphären aber auch in anderen Texten formuliert wurden. Wie ist, wenn man von einem einzigen Text ausgeht, der transforamtiv-imaginative und desorganisatorische Apparat in Gang zu setzen, der letztlich zu reichhaltig bestücktem komplexen ontologisch-anthropologischen Konzept wird.

Cílem přednášky (míněné současně i jako krátké laudatio) je s pomocí příkladu ilustrovat, jakým způsobem by mohl Sloterdijk transformovat literární podněty do témat, která následně filozoficky propracovává a rozvíjí ve svých textech. Několik možných transformací představím s pomocí částí a témat textu Bonaventurových Nachtwachen (1804, především 9. a 14 vigilie), které Sloterdijk osobně komentoval na přednáškách ve Vídni v roce 1998. Cílem není hledat paralely mezi Bonaventurovým a Sloterdijkovým dílem, ale s pomocí příkladu poukázat na možnosti filozofické transformace a vytěžení témat literárního díla ve prospěch filozofické imaginace a následně podrobného propracování filozofických konceptů.

Abstract (in English)

The goal of the lecture (intended also as a brief laudatio) is to illustrate on an example the way that Sloterdijk could transform literary impulses into themes that he subsequently processes philosophically and develops in his works. I will present several of such potential transformations by means of parts and themes from Bonaventura’s Nachtwachen (1804, especially vigils 9 and 14), which Sloterdijk commented on in his Vienna lectures in 1998. The aim is not to seek parallels between Bonaventura’s and Sloterdijk’s works, but to illustrate the possibilities of a philosophical transformation, the exploitation of literary themes by philosophical imagination and subsequently a detailed elaboration of philosophical concepts.
