Abstract
V originále
One of the main advantages of using immersive virtual reality for educational purposes is overcoming the boundaries of specific place and time. For classic education, it is necessary to set up specific place such as a school classroom and meet there on a specific time. On other hand, VR offers possibility to educate at any time and without a limit of having specific physical space dedicated to this purpose. It offers artificial space in form of a virtual classroom in which students can meet. Another advantage, which we implement in our application, is having a virtual experimenting space. This offers possibilities that are hardly or not at all possible to build in classic classroom. In our application, you can manipulate with geographical 3D models of terrain, walk around them and also transform them, in real time. Students have a possibility to interact with this model and test their hypothesis. Another important factor is, that this learning is done through a realistic human experience. Thanks to this, it is considered a great way to learn and educate.
