Abstract
This 90-minute workshop explores the didactic potential of complex drama in education courses in teacher training.Workshop participants will first be given an overview of one such course for future English language teachers and then experience parts of a process drama first hand. In addition, they will be shown how student teachers worked with the story. This workshop also endeavours to explain what possible impact drama in education may have in teacher training. Drama work paves the way for the development of language skills, as well as personal and social development and the exploration of various content-based topics in literature, culture, history or psychology.
