Abstract
The paper deals with the ASEAN’s role in managing the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia over Preah Vihear temple and surroundings areas. From ASEAN’s perspective the situation might be understood as the second chance to solve the dispute. The failure to act sheds negative light on the ASEAN’s ability to manage conflicts in the region.
