Anotace

Dieses Buch befasst sich mit der biblischen Intertextualität in deutschen Romanen. Die Hauptprotagonistinnen der Romane aus dem Korpus dieser Monografie verweisen intertextuell auf biblische Figuren, aber befinden sich in neuen Kontexten der eigenen fiktiven Welten. Im Zentrum dieser Monografie steht die Frage: Welche Funktion und welche Bedeutung hat die biblische Intertextualität in deutschen Romanen nach 1990? Die Autorin der Monografie geht davon aus, dass die biblische Intertextualität in den neuesten Romanen vorwiegend keiner direkten Auseinandersetzung mit dem christlichen Glauben bzw. der christlichen Religion dient, sondern von ihrer religiösen Bedeutung entfernt bzw. gelöst eigenen literarischen Zwecken dient. Gleichzeitig fragt die Autorin dieser Monografie nach der Verfremdung der biblischen Vorlage. Diese Fragen werden auch in Beziehung zu den älteren deutschen Romanen seit der Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts beantwortet, die sich für die Charakteristik ihrer Hauptprotagonistinnen ebenfalls der biblischen Intertextualität bedienen. Die Monografie erläutert nicht nur die älteste Verarbeitungsweise der biblischen Vorlage, die sog. historisierende Paraphrasierung, sondern auch neuere Verarbeitungsweisen wie die fiktive Transfiguration sowie die neueste Verarbeitungsweise in Romanen mit transfigurativen Elementen.

Tato kniha se zabývá biblickou intertextualitou v německých románech. Hlavní postavy knih z korpusu této monografie intertextuálně odkazují na biblické postavy, ale nacházejí se v nových kontextech svých vlastních fikčních světů. Cílem této publikace je odpovědět na otázku, jakou funkci a jaký význam má v současných německých románech po roce 1990 biblická intertextualita? Autorka monografie vychází z předpokladu, že samotná biblická intertextualita v současných německých románech automaticky nevede čtenáře k zamyšlení nad náboženskými otázkami, ale slouží spolu s dalšími rovinami románů vlastním literárním cílům. Zároveň autorku knihy zajímá, zda a jak je biblická předloha v románech zcizena. Tyto otázky jsou zodpovězeny i ve vztahu ke starším německým románům od poloviny 20. století, které rovněž využívají biblické intertextuality pro charakteristiku svých hlavních postav. Monografie popisuje nejen nejstarší způsob zpracování biblické předlohy, tzv. historizující parafrázi, ale i novější přístupy jako fiktivní transfiguraci a nakonec i nejnovější využití biblické intertextuality v románech s transfigurativními prvky. U nejnovějších románů po roce 1990 monografie rozlišuje mezi dvěma strategiemi: splnění a naopak zklamání čtenářského očekávání příběhu, který je podobný některému z biblických vyprávění.

Anotace anglicky

This monograph diels with the biblical intertextuality in german novels. The main characters of the books from the corpus of the monograph intertextually refer to the biblical characters, though they are found in new contexts of their own fictional worlds. The aim of the monograph is to answer to a question in what way and why the contemporary German authors make use of biblical references in their novels. The author of the monograph works on the assumption that the biblical intertextuality in contemporary German novels itself does not automatically lead the reader to reflect on religious issues, yet together with further levels of the novel it serves its own literary goals. At the same time, the author of the monograph asks a question as to whether and how the biblical pattern is estranged in the novels. These questions are also answered in the relation to older German novels written since the mid-twentieth century which also make use of intertextuality for characterization of their main characters. The monograph describes not only the oldest way of processing the biblical pattern, the so called historicist paraphrase, but also it depicts the newer approaches such as fictional transfiguration and eventually, too, the latest application of the biblical intertextuality in novels containing transfigurative elements. In case of the newer novels written after 1990 the monograph distinguishes between two strategies: the fulfillment and vice versa the disappointment of the reader's expectations concerning the narration which is similar to some of the biblical narration.
