The number of contracts concluded via electronic means is rising. Especially online consumer contracts are a reality of everyday life. Nowadays, it is relatively easy to conclude contract with international element. These contracts and their terms and conditions very often contain prorogation clauses and/or choice-of-law clauses. The aim of this article is to analyse the relevant European regulations, namely Rome I Regulation and Brussels Ibis Regulation in the context of online (consumer) contracts.
