Abstract

Impulzivní chování se objevuje u mnoha pacientů s různými duševními poruchami, výrazně komplikuje každodenní život pacientů a může mít závažné důsledky. Impulzivita je vícedimenzionální konstrukt, stále však nepanuje shoda na tom, jaké konkrétní dimenze obsahuje. V české odborné literatuře téma impulzivity téměř není zastoupeno. Předkládaný článek se věnuje osobnostním modelům impulzivity, konkrétně dvěma v současnosti nejvlivnějším modelům, a sice Barrattově škále a škále UPPS-P.

Abstract (in English)

Impulsive behavior occurs in many patients with different mental disorders, substantially complicates patients' everyday functioning and can have serious consequences. Impulsivity is a multidimensional construct, however, it has not been entirely cleared yet which specific dimensions it includes. Moreover, there is lack of studies regarding impulsivity in the Czech literature. The present article deals with personality models of impulsivity, specifically with the two currently most influential models, the Barratt Scale and the UPPS-P Scale.
