Castlemanova choroba je nenádorové onemocnění, které ve své multicentrické formě imponuje jako lymfom nebo mnohočetný myelom. Zatímco unicentrická forma je obvykle řešena chirurgicky, multicentrická vyžaduje imunoterapii rituximabem doplněnou dle potřeby o chemoterapii. Cílem tohoto krátkého sdělení je upozornit na tuto poměrně vzácnou klinickou jednotku, která může představovat diagnostický problém.

Castleman disease is non-malignant disorder mimicking in its multicentric form malignant lymphoma or multiple myeloma. While unicentric form is usually successfully treated with surgery multicentric form necessitates immunotherapy with rituximab supplemented with chemotherapy when needed. The aim of this short communication is to draw the attention to this relatively rare clinical unit that may represent a diagnostic challenge.
