Abstract
Geographical courses Z0131 – Sustainabilty and Z0132 – Urban and rural studies in the program of Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University in Brno are lead as project courses based on Marzano-Kendall taxonomy of educational objectives and on appropriate textbook of Cloke et al. Introducing Human Geographies, the sylabus is enclosed in. We could try actor-network-theory in the case study covering performance of real estate land adjustment after the Velvet revolution followed by restitutions changing landed property. Next field project concerned governance, completely new phenomenon at citizenship activities studied in spatiality of community fighting for public services in the margin of municipality. Geography is also very capable in community planning with respect to sustainability using concepts of ecosystem services, landscaping or empowering communities
