Abstract

Výstavní projekt Na těle… realizovaný pedagogy a studenty Katedry výtvarné výchovy PdF MU v podzimních a zimních měsících tohoto roku je založen na principech oponujících všudypřítomnému předvánoční- mu konzumu. Prezentuje autorské šperky, které vznikaly jako experimenty balancující na pomezí volné a užité tvorby (bodyart, akce, design) nebo na rozhraní autonomní drobné plastiky a oděvních doplňků. Ve vystavené kolekci jsou zahrnuty i drobnosti parodující masovou produkci bižutérie (závěsy, brože, náušnice, náramky), jež vznikaly jako výsledek odlehčené hry s materiály – s hlínou, textilem či kovem. Jejich tvůrci využili příležitosti vyměnit akt pouhého pořizování věcí za akt jejich vytváření. Křehkost některých použitých materiálů snad může podvědomě souviset i s aktuální ohrožeností kreativity zastiňované pestrou nabídkou nákupu sériově vyráběných věci. Pokusili jsme se tak oživit tradici DIY.

Abstract (in English)

Exhibition project Na těle ... realized by teachers and students of the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in the autumn and winter months of this year, is based on the principles opposed to the ubiquitous pre- to consume it. Presents author's jewelry that originated as experiments balancing the boundaries of free and applied creation (bodyart, action, design) or the interface of autonomous small sculpture and clothing accessories. The exhibits include parody of mass production of jewelery (curtains, brooches, earrings, bracelets) that originated as a result of a lightweight game with materials - clay, textile or metal. Their creators took the opportunity to exchange the act of making things as an act of their creation. The brittleness of some of the materials used may be unconsciously related to the current threats of creativity shadowed by the varied offer of the purchase of mass-produced items. We have tried to revive the DIY tradition.
