Kniha je výsledkem studijní cesty do Moskvy a Novgorodu za středověkými, ale i novověkými a moderními památkami. Objekty, s nimiž se skupina historiků umění setkala tváří v tvář (Rublevova sv. Trojice, Obraz Matky Boží Vladimirské, Uspenský chrám, Archandělský chrám v Kremlu aj.) jsou v publikaci stručně představeny.

The book is the result of a study trip to Moscow and Novgorod and as such rises from a face to face encounter with both the medieval and modern monuments. These objects (Andrei Rublev’s Trinity, Our Lady of Vladimir, Dormition Cathedral, Cathedral of the Archangel in Moscow Kremlin, etc.) are briefly presented in this publication
