Abstract
Lectin RS20L from phytopathogen Ralstonia solanacearum showed a low solubility without a sugar ligand. A selected panel of additives was tested using the nano differential scanning fluorimetry (nanoDSF). The manganese chloride together with higher pH (8.1) has shown to dramaticaly increase the stability important for crystallization.of RS20L protein. Crystallization screening provided crystals of RS20L in conditions of 0.1 M Hepes pH=7.5 with 10% (v/v) polyethylene glycol of different molecular weight. Increasing the temperature dramaticaly improved the reproducibility of crystallization.
