Abstract

Studie se zabývá rešerší výzkumů týkajících se miskoncepcí v genetice. Genetika je mladý a rychle se rozvíjející obor, avšak na druhou stranu je to obor plný abstraktních témat, která jsou těžká na pochopení. Miskoncepce jsou takové vysvětlení jevů a procesů, jenž nebývá vždy v souladu se současným vědeckým poznáním reality. Studie si klade za cíl podat přehledný text, který umožní orientaci v tomto tématu. Nalezené studie jsou porovnávány z hlediska cílů, výzkumných otázek, výzkumných nástrojů a používaných metod. Výsledky ukazují, že studie se často zaměřují na pochopení základních pojmů z genetiky. Cíle ve studiích jsou často nekonkrétní a nebývá uvedená zvolená analýza dat. Výsledky studií ukazují nekonzistentní chápání pojmů z genetiky, přeceňování mož- ností, které genetika nabízí. Projevili se i vlivy místních tradic na porozumění genetice.

Abstract (in English)

The presented text is a review study of researches dealing with misconceptions in genetics. Genetics is a new and developing field of science. On the other hand, it is a field full of abstract concepts that are difficult to understand. Misconceptions are such III/2017 150 explanations of phenomena and processes that are different from the current scientific knowledge. The examined studies are compared from the perspective of aims, research questions, research tools and methods. The results show that researches quite often focus on understanding of the basic genetic concepts. The aims of the researches are not concrete, and the data analyses are not described. The results of the researches show inconsistent understanding of genetics concepts and overestimating of possibilities offered by genetics. The influence of local culture is an important factor too.
