Abstract
Abstract (in English)
This capture summarizes a current knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm in hairy cell leukemia (HCL) that is a rare indolent B cell lymphoproliferative disease. Pancytopenia and splenomegaly are typical and the most frequent HCL symptoms. In most cases of classic HCL we are able to detect BRAF V600E mutation. Treatment is indicated only in patients with symptomatic disease and is based on cladribine. Currently HCL prognosis is excellent and nearly 95 % of patients reach long-lasting complete remission of the disease.
