A minireview of low-cost and hands-on experiments to demonstrate various techniques of analytical chemistry is presented. The scope was limited to absorption spectroscopy in visible part of the spectrum, fluorescence spectroscopy, flash photolysis, flame emission spectroscopy, gas chromatography and nuclear magnetic resonance.
