Abstract
Despite its relevance, mediation is a skill not yet thoroughly examined in ESP. Professionals, such as doctors or lawyers, are often asked to study a source text and choose relevant information on the basis of which their clients can take action. How can they be trained to do this in English? This talk will provide an answer to this question.
