Z území ČR je historicky známo 12 druhů velkých lupenonožců, mezi které řadíme žábronožky, listonohy, škeblovky a hrašníky. Všechny druhy řadíme mezi ohrožené, přičemž 2 druhy jsou regionálně vymizelé, 5 druhů kriticky ohrožených, 2 druhy ohrožené a 3 druhy zranitelné.

Twelve species of large Branchiopoda, which include fairy shrimps (Anostraca), tadpole shrimps (Notostraca) and clam shrimps (Spinicaudata and Laevicaudata), have been historically known from the Czech Republic. All of them are classified as threatened: 2 as regionally extinct, 5 as critically endangered, 2 as endangered and 3 as vulnerable.
