Abstract

MESH satelitní terminál je hardwarová jednotka doplňující standartní satelitní terminál. Na hardwaru této jednotky jsou implementovány řídicí algoritmy celé MESH sítě. Řídící jednotka komunikuje s modemy satelitního terminálu, čímž fakticky řídí satelitní přenos dat v rámci MESH sítě. Terminál je postaven na existujících modemech, koncept umožňuje propojení menšího počtu jednotek bez použití pozemního hubu, čímž se zmenší transportní zpoždění signálu a dojte i k úspoře přenosového pásma.

Abstract (in English)

The MESH satellite terminal is a hardware unit supplementing standard satellite terminal. This unit implements control algorithms for the whole MESH satellite network. The MESH terminal communicates directly with the satellite modems and controls the data transport across the whole MESH network. The terminal is based on existing satellite modems. The prototype developed allows to interconnect several satellite terminal without utilization of terrestrial hub. The result is lower transport delay and badnwitdth saving.
