Abstract |

Masaryk nu a fost un teoretician sistematic al filosofiei, a fost mai degraba un tip de ganditor socratic, ale carui intrebari sunt adesea mai importante decat ansamblul raspunsurilor. Masaryk insusi spune c nu si-a elaborat in mod asistematic filosofia, teoria cunoasterii si metafizica si nu s-a considerat niciodata filosof si metafizician. Cu toate acestea, certetatorii lui Masaryk se straduiesc sa sesizeze logica interna a filosofiei lui Masaryk si o gasese in doua domenii tematice strans legate. Unul este reprezentant de filosofia istoriei, a societatii si a politici, prin care s-a straduit sa sesizeze caracterul schimbarilor socio-culturale, al doilea filosofia omului, a moralei si a religiei, domeniu în care s-a ocupat în special de criza omului modern. Masaryk isi caracteriza pozitia filosofica drept rationalism moderat, concretism sau, imprecis, ca realism. |

Masaryk nebyl systematickým teoretickým filozofem, byl spíše sókratovským typem myslitele, jehož otázky jsou často důležitější než soubor odpovědí. Sám Masaryk říká, že svou filozofii, svou teorii poznání a metafyziku systematicky nezpracoval, dokonce prohlašuje, že se nikdy za filozofa a metafyzika nevydával. Přesto se však masarykovští badatelé snaží postihnout vnitřní logiku Masarykova filozofování a nacházejí ji ve vzájemně úzce propojených dvou tematických okruzích. Jeden tvoří Masarykova filozofie dějin, společnosti a politiky, kterou se snažil postihnout povahu sociokulturních změn, a druhý jeho filozofie člověka, morálky a náboženství, ve které se věnoval především krizi moderního člověka. Své filozofické stanovisko Masaryk charakterizoval jako mírný racionalismus, konkretismus nebo nepřesně jako realismus. |

Masaryk was not a systematic theoretical philosopher. Rather, he was a Socratic-type thinker, whose questions are often more significant than the answers. Masaryk himself said he had never worked out a systematic conception of philosophy, theory of knowledge or metaphysics. In spite of that Masaryk scholars attempt to discover an inner logic in his philosophy and they find it in two interconnected themes. One of them is Masaryks philosophy of history, society and politics, in which he attempted to describe the nature of sociocultural changes. The other is his philosophy of man, morality and religion, in which he focused primarily on the crisis of the modern man. Masaryk characterized his philosophical stance as a moderate form of rationalism, concretism or less precisely as realism. |
