Abstract
Front corneal curvature is defined by corneal shape and size of the front eye segment. There are several methods describing this value. The mathematic model is the most used one. Gullstrand, LeGrand, Navarro and Kooijiman are other models describing cornea. For the optometrist front corneal curvature is important during contact lenses application. Whereas ophthalmologist useses front corneal curvature in diseases involving this value e.g.: keatoconus, keratoglobus or margican pellucid degeneration. Aswell is this value important in corneal surgery. We presumed that front corneal curvature changes during the day time and may affect overall refraction, even though overall feeling when contact lenses are worn during the day may change. The goal of this study was to determine whether there are significant changes in the front corneal curvature during the day time.
