Abstract (in English)
The presented work deals with the primary and supergene Pb-Zn mineralization of the ore deposit in Horní Hoštice – Jelení vrch which is situated close to Javorník. The first part of my thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the existing ore deposits. The second part consists of field work, own laboratory research and results. In the field work we took the samples, documented and assessed the curent status of the area of our interest. The taken samples were examined by using an optical microscopy, electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Using those methods was determined the chemical composition of sulphides and the secondary phases of hemimorphite, anglesite, cerussite and pyromorphite. In case of surrogate enrichment was found the sequence of crystallization of individual minerals in the oxidation weathering zone of the bearing. More recently, were the primary mineralization and its chemistry described. The Cd contents in the sphalerites (0.14-0.60 wt.%) and Fe (1.83-5.28 wt.%) are low and, together with the absence of inclusion of other sulphides, indicate low temperature formation. The findings are compared with the surrounding occurrences of similar mineralization close to Horní Hoštice, which are genetically different. Among the secondary uranium minerals, a rare casolite was also verified.
