This chapter includes description of outer hand, its physiology, and changes when skin disease is present, everything from medical point of view. The complete skin anatomy of the hand has been described, together with histopathological changes. The skin diseases localized on this special part of the body and their consequences to fingerprint recognition are mentioned and discussed.
