Abstract

Architecture as a phenomenon plays an essential role in the complex and lifelong learning of man. As a subject of study, it links the natural, technical and human sciences with art. Interdisciplinarity also takes an integral part in the field of education, which we call informal or leisure time learning. The meeting with architecture in the framework of school education is still most often done in the form of sightseeing excursions to architectural monuments and exhibitions. In this sense, it is just a museum-type organization that has a longtime central position in educating about the architecture and its associated topics. Between years 2011 and 2015, four family villas were open to the public in the city of Brno. These buildings represent outstanding works in the area of private family housing, in the period of modern times and Art Nouveau to the interwar avant-garde. The cooperation between these institutions in creating the educational offer for schools could represent a new dimension in familiarizing students with important aspects of cultural and social life in the early 20th century. The topics such as private housing, individual choice of the location, taste, and style, development of the urban areas in a broad socio-historical context, family relations and social structures closely linked to the trade and economy - all these topics offer a wide range of interconnection capabilities that are very useful for example in project teaching. The contribution will indicate a possible way to design a suitably complementary range of educational services, including the creation of promotional and printed materials. The question of other model solutions should be the subject of the following collective discussion.

Abstract (in Czech)

Architektura jako fenomén hraje důležitou roli v komplexním a celoživotním vzdělávání člověka. Jako předmět studia propojuje přírodní, technické a humanitní vědy. Mezioborovost hraje však podstatnou roli i v té oblasti vzdělávání, které nazýváme neformálním či volnočasovým. Setkávání s architekturou v rámci školní výuky se stále v největším zastoupení odehrává formou poznávacích exkurzí do architektonických památkových objektů a expozic. V tomto smyslu jsou to právě organizace muzejního typu, které dlouhodobě plní významnou podpůrnou úlohu v osvětě o architektuře a k ní přidružených tématech. Mezi lety 2011-2015 byla v Brně veřejnosti zpřístupněna čtveřice rodných vil reprezentujících výjimečná díla v oblasti soukromé rodinné zástavby, v časovém období od moderny a secese po meziválečnou avantgardu. Vzájemná spolupráce těchto institucí při vytvoření nabídky edukačních programů pro školy by mohla představovat nový rozměr v seznámení studentů s důležitými aspekty kulturního a společenského života na počátku 20. století. Témata soukromého bydlení, výběr prostředí, osobního vkusu a dobového stylu; urbanistický vývoj městských částí, zasazení do okolního prostředí v širším společensko-historickém kontextu, rodové vztahy, společenské struktury úzce spojené s obchodem a ekonomikou, politikou a průmyslem, architektonická témata a inspirace – to vše nabízí širokou škálu možností propojení učiva z mnoha různých předmětů, které jsou velmi využitelné například v projektové výuce. V příspěvku bude naznačen možný způsob, jak koncipovat vhodně se doplňující nabídku vzdělávacích služeb, včetně tvorby propagačních a tištěných materiálů. Otázka dalších modelových řešení by měla být předmětem následující společné diskuze.
